General Electric Names Four New Officers

June 25, 2003

FAIRFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 2003--General Electric has announced the appointment of four new company officers.
Leonard A. Kosar, 41, is Vice President of GE Plastics Pacific, a position he assumed in May 2003. In his current role, Leonard is responsible for business operations in the Pacific including sales, market development and supply chain. He previously served as President and CEO of Storage USA, a GE Real Estate business located in Memphis, Tenn. Leonard joined GE in 1984, as part of the Manufacturing Management Training Program (MMP). Between 1986 and 1997, he served in manufacturing, finance and sales positions for various departments within GE Appliances. In 1998, he was named President of GE Appliances Asia, and was named General Manager of Six Sigma for Appliances in 1999. He later served in market and product development roles for Appliances. Leonard earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned a Masters in Business from the University of Louisville.
Jeanne Rosario, 51, has assumed the role of Vice President, Commercial Design for Reliability, in Engineering. She joined Aircraft Engines directly out of college and spent the next 2 years on the Engineering Development Program. She has held roles of increasing responsibility accumulating 15 years experience in engine design and 8 years in Systems leadership, contributing to both commercial, military, and M&I product lines. She held a significant role as Manager, CF34-8 Growth Engine System Design and Integration where she had been leading the engineering team to certify an increased thrust derivative engine on three major regional aircraft. Her most recent position was General Manager, Engine Systems Design and Integration where she had Engineering program responsibility for all GE Aircraft Engine's fielded engines as well as Product Definition and Systems Design efforts. She received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Richard Stanley, 45, has been named Vice President and General Manager, Aircraft Engines Engineering Division. A graduate of GE's Advanced Engineering Program, Rick joined GE Aircraft Engines in 1980. He has held assignments in turbomachinery and systems engineering on many GE Aircraft Engines products, including the F110, F120, T700, F404 and CF6. Increasingly responsible roles include General Manager of the Combustion & Configuration Center of Excellence, GE Aircraft Engine Systems Design and Integration and Customer Technology Programs for GE Engine Services. His most recent position was General Manager for the CF6 Project at GE Aircraft Engines. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Aero & Applied Mechanical Engineering from University of Cincinnati.
Dow Wilson, 44, is President and CEO of GE Medical Systems Information Technologies since May 2003. Dow joined the GE organization as a Specialist in Business Development and Planning for GE Medical Systems in 1985 and held a number of increasingly significant assignments with Medical Systems until 1997 when he transferred to GE Plastics in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands, as General Manager - Structured Products, Europe. He returned to Medical Systems to the position of General Manager of the Global CT Business in August 1999. Dow was promoted to the position of General Manager of Global Functional and Molecular Imaging in October 2001. In July 2002, he was promoted to the position of General Manager, Global Surgery and Vascular Imaging, Diagnostic X-ray, and GE Medical Systems OEC. Dow graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.A. in English Literature and received an M.B.A. from Dartmouth College.
